Powertap

Powertap have been involved with monitoring cyclists power for several decades. Over the years their products have come under the Saris and CycleOps names as well as Powertap. Their range of products is limited to 3 main power metering systems but these key products satisfy the majority of cyclists. They have the Powertap G3 power metering hub, now in it's third generation, the Powertap C1 power metering chainring and the bi-laterally superb Powertap P1 power meter pedals (plus the P1S with power monitored in just one pedal)

    Powertap C1 Chainring

    The Powertap C1 Chainring  is a fully featured, crank-based power meter. A popular product due to it's dual-sided power measurement. It's not true bi-lateral / independent power balance measurement. Instead, the power balance data is an accurate estimation of left versus right power.
